Alabama Shih Tzus

Hello! Welcome to my website! I raise registered CKC Shih Tzu puppies. I have been breeding them since 2000. I started out just getting a shih tzu for a pet. Turned out l loved the breed! I bought another and decided to let them have puppies. It all began from there! When I had my first litter I panicked! How will I find homes for these babies? I advertised and it was no problem! I sold them all! I learned how to get a website and I was on my way being a breeder. It has been 25 years and I am still doing it. I have enjoyed raising the precious little puppies. They are sooo sweet!

I live in the country near Birmingham, Alabama. It has been a perfect place to raise shih tzus. They love to run free and go on walks. I try to take them out often. I have a large fenced in area behind my house that I keep them in most of the time. There is a small shed I have put doggy doors in and AC and heat. So the dogs are free to come in and out as they please. It’s best to keep them in a protected area because we have predators like coyotes or big dogs, or other wild animals. I usually let them out for a run at noon time for an hour or so. That’s the least most likely time for any predators to be around.
